Hasbro have finally announced the latest piece to be added to the Monopoly board, and it looks like we called it right here in the office.
When we first reported the news that Monopoly was going to ditch one of their beloved player tokens for a brand new one, we took a stab at which piece might win. We sided with the cat.
In fairness, it wasn’t a hard choice seeing as Hasbro left the decision up to the good people of the internet (that’s you!) and one of the choices was said cat. But why were we so sure that the feline would win? Well, have you ever been on Reddit?
So, can you guess what won now? Yes, it was the cat.
So, out with the old, which happened to be the iron, and in with the new. We don’t think too many people will be bothered that the iron has been sent to jail for good, seeing as the piece only ever went to your mam or someone who was completely new to the game.
