JOE would never, ever condone the vandalism of road signs, but when it is done in a humerous way and the message is still given to motorists, then maybe, just maybe it is more easily acceptable.
Ireland is littered with examples right around the country of road signs that have been altered to at times reflect more localised phrases and slang. This example from Mallow in Cork is no different, with motorists given advice for the following 200 metres of road.
