Even Keano looks suspicious…
The city of Cork has been host to a mysterious foul-smelling pong for the past three days and efforts are under way to locate its source.
Our attention was drawn to said foul-smelling pong when we got a sniff of this marvellous headline in The Evening Echo today…

According to a report in the same paper, there are a number of theories being bandied about, such as the low tide, dredging of the river and construction work but whatever it is, the locals are not happy campers at all…
The smell on Patricks Bridge is wicked.#cork city.

Whatever is causing the sulphur-like stench, it is causing punters on Patrick Street to hold their noses as they walk along. Local traders are said to be ‘fuming’ and local authorities have vowed to find out what it is. They are very much on the ‘scent’.
We’re blaming Jack the Ripper.
