She’s no fan of the short kickout.

Yesterday’s All-Ireland semi-final was a great watch for the neutral, but it was so tense and full of drama that fans of Kerry and Tyrone must have been tearing their hair out at times.

Tearing her hair out was about the only thing Kerry fan Maureen Fleming didn’t do when watching the game at home in Ballymacelligott, just outside Tralee, yesterday, with her son Tadgh catching her go through practically every emotion throughout the 70 minutes.

Maureen got so worked up throughout that it was relief more than exhilaration she felt once the final whistle; as Tadgh says himself, God bless the person sitting next to her during the final!
