There’s always a time and a place for a nice cup of tea.
Over the weekend, you probably saw the effect that Storm Jonas is having on the east coast of America at the moment.
Blizzards, heavy snow and freezing temperatures, it’s one of the worst storms to hit that part of the US in a long time and could apparently even make its way to Ireland in the coming days.
Joseph O’Toole and Pat Fahey, both employees of The Dubliner pub in Washington DC, found themselves snowed in over the weekend, but decided to brave the elements for a cup of tea, a fag and a biscuit outdoors in conditions that you wouldn’t dream of putting a cat out in.
Not a bother to Joseph and Pat, however, who didn’t seem too bothered by the cold, the snow and the strong breeze and had the type of conversation that will be held at workplaces throughout Ireland this morning.
