Twit of the Day
The first humanoid robot heading to space has set up his own Twitter account – and has already gained over 7,600 followers. NASA’s space-bound Robonaut 2 is due aboard the International Space Station in November to help stationed astronauts with mundane tasks and potentially dangerous situations. Robonaut’s NASA handlers have since set up a Twitter feed for the automaton, who has ‘answered’ direct queries for his legion of followers. Yesterday a vexed Robonaut responded to accusations from @C0nn0rml that he was just a robot’:
“@C0nn0rmcl I’m not just any robot. I’ll be the 1st dexterous humanoid robot in space and 1st US robot on space station.”
