Please be right, Met Eireann.

The weather over the weekend and today has been absolutely cracking with temperatures reaching 20°C in parts of Ireland today.

Here are a few Snapchats we received from around the country, gorgeous stuff altogether.

Great news lads because there’s a lot more of that on the way for the rest of the week.

Irish forecaster Met Eireann says the warm temperatures will last up until Thursday at the very least.

A spokesman told Irish Mirror, “It’s looking very good. The warmest parts of the country will be up to 17°C, Tomorrow will be a mostly sunny day with top temperatures ranging from 15°C to 17°C.

“Wednesday will be another fair day with good sunshine. Temperatures inland will reach 16°C in the afternoon. And on Thursday, we will see temperatures similar to Wednesday of around 16°C.”
