One step forward and two steps back.
The wind on the west coast of Ireland was something to behold yesterday, and there is no better illustration of that point than this nine-second video of a man simply trying to walk somewhere.
We’re pretty used to the wind and rain in Ireland, but even we draw the line when it stops us getting from A to B. Yesterday, the elements were going one better and actually pushing people back beyond where they’d started.
We have to admire this guy’s resilience, because when it comes to the age-old battle between man and nature, there is only ever one winner.
