Springsteen fans won’t be waitin’ on a sunny day for long.
There’s only one place to be this weekend as The Boss is back in town. Ok, there are a few places to be because there’s also the small matter of the Champions League final and the meeting of Connacht and Leinster in the rugby, but we’re safe in saying that there’s only one concert to be at!
Bruce Springsteen is at Croke Park for two gigs this weekend and while nothing can take away from the sheer buzz of seeing The Boss live, we’re all hoping that the rain fecks off for the evening.
According to Met Eireann, here’s the Dublin-specific forecast.
“A mainly dry day which will be rather cloudy to begin. However, cloud will tend to break as the day goes on allowing some sunny intervals to develop. Highest temperatures of 15 or 16 degrees Celsius in light and easterly breezes.”
We’re not relying on just one forecast though, so we did a little bit of digging. Here’s the hour-by-hour forecast.
Hurray!

As for the rest of the country – who will undoubtedly be spending their evening listening to The River on iTunes- here’s what’s to be expected on the weather front.
Generally cloudy at first today with some mist and drizzle in places. Good sunshine will develop through the day and temperatures will rise to between 15 and 19 degrees in light easterly breezes. However occasional heavy showers may occur during the later part of the afternoon and evening. As for tonight, it’s expected to be mostly dry and clear overnight with lowest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees.
