They take their jerk seriously in Wisconsin, which is why they were celebrating the 20th anniversary of the annual jerk cook-off, and they had plenty of competition this year by the sounds of it.
With over 38 different recipes from 20 different cooks, they were spoiled for choice when it comes to jerk chicken, jerk turkey, and all sorts of jerk formulae at the unfortunately (or brilliantly) named ‘Great Northern Jerk-Off’ this year. Oh dear.

We feel like the woman second from the right in the picture above has just realised what the t-shirt says and how the whole thing looks, but has simultaneously been struck by the crushing weight of the knowledge that it’s all too late now, she’s 20-years deep.
