Culprits remain at large after a shooting in Meath

Gardaí are searching for whoever is responsible for a shooting in the early hours of this morning.

The shooting took place in Dunboyne, Co. Meath between the hours of 4.00am and 5.00am. While nobody was injured in the shooting, it has been reported that a house was hit.

There was damage done to the front window and front door of the house.

Details on the incident are scant so far, but Gardaí are on the lookout for a dark red or maroon car that was seen driving from The Green, Dunboyne Castle, Co. Meath, according to the Independent.

No suspects have been arrested.

The Gardaí have encouraged anyone with any information on the incident to come forward.
