Dynamite Studio’s Jason O’Gorman (the man behind ‘100 Facts You Probably Didn’t Know About Cork‘) is back once again and this time he has colourised a massive 12 x 3.5-foot image of Cork City Centre…
A few months ago, five to be exact, we featured a video from Dynamite Studios in Cork that saw their master graphic designer, Jason O’Gorman, hand drawing a 9 x 3-foot black & white image of Cork City. Check it out here.
That picture is proudly hanging in Cork Airport as of today (see above), so Jason decided that now would be a good time to show off his brand new colourised picture of Cork City Centre and you have to admit, he’s done one hell of a job…

You can check out the much BIGGER PICTURE by clicking here. It’s worth the click…
Here’s what Jason had to say about the image: “Finally, after 8 months of ‘tipping away’ – I’ve finished the Cork City Centre illustration. This project started out with a range of images taken from Shandon.
“These were stitched together in Photoshop CC to create a large 12ft x 3.5ft panoramic view of Cork City Centre, from the Elysian to St. Vincent’s bridge. This was (painstakingly) traced as a polygon style graphic in illustrator CC and finally colour corrected back in Photoshop.”
Fair play to him. We would have probably given up after colouring in the sky…
