The sun is shining, everyone’s sweating, and jellyfish have invaded our shores…
That’s right, it’s summer in Ireland.
Meath County Council have issued warnings to anyone enjoying the beach on Ireland’s east coast today. Apparently, anyone who’s not careful could fall victim to the very dangerous (and very gigantic) Lion’s Mane jellyfish, pictured below.
These weird-looking jellyfish have been spotted at Bettystown beach in the last couple of days and, according to Meath’s county council, stings from these fellas can be “very serious.”
