We would have preferred if it came in time for Christmas but who are we kidding, snow is something to get excited about whenever it arrives.
Excitement certainly seems to be high in Mayo with reports of the white stuff falling pretty much all over the county, while there are reports that there are snow showers in parts of Galway and Clare as well.
After conducting a very quick an exhaustive Twitter search, we came across a few pictures where the snow appears to be falling or have fallen quite heavily, maybe even enough to throw a few snowballs or make a few snowmen over the weekend, but we wouldn’t go getting our hopes up just yet.

It goes without saying that those of you hitting the roads should take extra caution behind the wheel in affected areas and as far as precautions go for the rest of you, well, just don’t eat the yellow snow.
