More good news.
The Irish Times have reported that the government plans to create 1,300 jobs a week in Ireland, in a long-term employment plan called Enterprise 2025.
This announcement follows the news from Cork earlier in the week, where 1,000 jobs are going in Apple courtesy of the CEO himself, Tim Cook.
“With the addition of Enterprise 2025 as a guiding framework for new policies, we expect to be able to lower the unemployment rate down to 6 per cent by 2020,” the Taoiseach said.
“This will see an additional 220,000 new jobs throughout the country based on the latest job creation figures.”
