An Irish summer for you.
To be fair, not every Irish person can complain about the recent weather because we’ve been treated to some fairly good days but not everyone in the 32 counties has been able to revel in the sunshine.
The conditions reverted to their ugly self over the weekend as thunder and lightning were common in certain counties.
Martin McKenna was driving around Garvagh, Derry yesterday and caught this footage of two rapid fire lightning bolts hitting the ground.
Derry wasn’t the only place where it was advisable to stay indoors, take a look at this footage of some incredibly loud thunder.
