The Kerryman got a bit of a surprise when he arrived into school this morning…
There’s been plenty of debate about the decision to play Kerry and Mayo’s All-Ireland semi final replay in Limerick because of the College Football game between Penn State and UCF that takes place at Croke Park on Saturday.
Speaking to the Irish Independent this week, ex-Kerry star Tomás Ó Sé said:
“I just think it’s bad timing. I think it’s brilliant that American Football can come here. It’s brilliant that soccer and rugby was here but I mean it’s a GAA field and it’s our field.
“There are players that love coming to Croke Park and playing and I just think I was bad planning to put an American football game in our busiest window of the year.”
Some of the five-time All-Ireland winner’s students clearly read the article and the scamps decided to leave this little present in the classroom for Tomás this morning…
