They just couldn’t get it right…
There was a double header in Fitzgerald Stadium today where Kerry took on Tipperary in the Munster Senior Football Final and in the minor final, Cork played Kerry.
The minor match finished in a win for Kerry by 3-14 to 3-8 in a hugely exciting game which produced six goals and a host of great points.
But the scoreboard was on the fitz fritz in Fitzgerald Stadium and a lot of people were pointing out an obvious flaw with the scoring during the minor game…
The old phrase take your points, the goals will come is truly apt on this occasion.

The problems spilled on over into the senior match where Kerry ran out convincing winners over a spirited Tipperary side by 3-17 to 2-10.
As if there wasn’t enough scoring errors this weekend already, huh?
