Shite.
Those of you with plans to participate in outdoor activities this weekend will be sad to learn that the weather Gods have decided not to play ball.
Met Eireann have released the forecast for this weekend and suffice to say, it’s pretty bloody miserable.
Widespread showers, fresh and gusty west to northwest winds and temperatures well below normal for the end of May have been predicted for Friday and Saturday and Sunday ain’t much better.
Saturday should be reasonably dry during the day before rain becomes commonplace from the evening time onwards, Sunday is likely to be cool and cloudy and there will be heavy rain pretty much everywhere on Sunday night leading into the Bank Holiday Monday.
Changeable conditions, albeit with a slight increase in temperatures, are likely to persist into next week, but the Leaving Cert starts on Wednesday so it’ll have to have improved by then, right?
RIGHT?
