The forthcoming Irish heatwave is a myth.
Sorry folks, we were fooled too, but it’s not going to happen.
Met Éireann’s Gerald Fleming was on RTÉ Radio 1 this morning and he said that we can expect, “warm and humid weather, certainly towards the end of the coming week, say Thursday, Friday.”
And then this.
“I wouldn’t classify it as a heatwave.”
He then said something about how Britain can expect temperatures of 32 degrees but we’ll be left with the overcast, muggy, sweaty seconds and nothing higher than 25 degrees.
Pub, so.
