Start making those plans.
For most people, there’s just a few more hours to get through in the working week before that magic moment arrives as the clock strikes 5 O’Clock and we’re all free for the weekend.
Then again, maybe you pulled the short straw and ended up having to work on Saturday and Sunday. We feel your pain.
If you plan on pulling a sickie then I’m not to going to tell your boss especially since the weather is looking pretty decent for this coming weekend.
This morning is going to be dry in most areas with sunny spells expected throughout but it still might be a good idea to have a brolly on hand because rain is expected during the afternoon, mainly in south Leinster, south Munster and the northwest.
The good news though is that this evening is expected to be dry and Saturday definitely looks like it’s a day to be out of the house because those nice people at Met Eireann have informed me that it’s going to be dry with sunny spells throughout.
The pub or a stint in front of the TV might be in order on Saturday night though, especially if you live in the southwest of the country because wet weather is set to develop and spread throughout overnight.
The rain is going to carry on into Sunday morning, take note if you plan on heading to Semple Stadium for the hurling, but things should clear up by the afternoon as the sun makes another welcome appearance.
FYI, if the weather is even the slightest bit inaccurate then feel free to join me in a mass demonstration outside of the Met Eireann offices on Monday morning. I’ll be the one carrying either a torch, pitchfork or hurl.
