A rainfall warning is in place across the country after Met Éireann issued a Status Yellow weather warning on Thursday morning.
Dublin, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Tipperary and Waterford were all issued a warning at 6am this morning.
There is the risk of local flooding across the country, with the possibility of wintry showers this evening.
