It looks like something from the Arctic Circle…
There was some snow around the country last night and it left its mark on higher ground with the Wicklow Mountains heavily affected.
Some roads were closed including the Sally Gap in Wicklow. People were advised against travelling on the snowy roads but some people braved the icy surfaces.
And some paid the price by getting stuck, as you can see in the video below.
The footage captured by Skycam Ireland shows off the beautiful scenery in all its winter glory, and we have to say, it looks beautiful.
