Great news because the weather this weekend is set to be fantastic

Get the 99s in.

This week was already a good one due to the Monday Bank Holiday, but the nice people at Met Eireann have given us even more reason to be shiny happy people. Temperatures are expected to to be on the up this weekend with highs of 21 degrees being forecasted. Did someone say beer garden?

From Friday onwards, temperatures are expected to range from 11 to 17 degrees Celsius, but it’s not all good news because some rain is expected throughout Leinster and east Munster during the evening hours.

There’s going to be a wet start to Saturday, with temperatures of 11 to 16 degrees Celsius, highest over Leinster.  The rain may ease from the south and east, though not until later.

The weather is looking good for Sunday as it will be a much milder day in all areas, with highest temperatures of 15 to 21 degrees Celsius.

That warmer weather will continue into early next week with overall dry spells. Localised showers could happen during this period too but it’s expected to be mostly dry.
