We’re looking at some very warm temperatures in Ireland in the next few days

Summer is making a comeback.

Temperatures are set to go as high as 24 degrees in the country this weekend, although there will be some rain.

Saturday will be mostly dry with sunny spells over Connacht and Ulster, while there will be isolated showers along the north coast this evening.

It will be humid, with temperatures between 17 and 21 degrees.

Sunday will be mostly dry and warm, with sunny spells and just the odd shower in the north of the country.

Next week will get even warmer, with temperatures expected to hit the mid-twenties on Monday and Tuesday. It will be sunny, although rain is expected to follow with expected thunder and lightning.
