The final week of November was a painfully cold one, dipping into the minuses on a few separate occasions.
Given that it’s winter time in Ireland, hot water bottles and woolly hats will basically be a must throughout the whole season, but according to Met Éireann‘s latest forecast the weather for next week will at least be a little less biting.
Daytime from Sunday to Tuesday will be largely bearable, with highs of eight to ten degrees and lows of six to nine degrees.
Monday night will be pretty bad, seeing lows of zero to plus 4, but hey, at least we’re not into the negative numbers again.
Going beyond Tuesday, Met Éireann also says that temperatures “above normal” will continue, saying: “Quite windy and quite wet at times, with showers or longer spells of heavy rain. Temperatures a little above normal. Turning colder later Thursday, but staying windy, with frost and some wintry showers overnight.”
Listen, we’ll take it.
