The worst of it will be in Donegal.
Met Eireann have issued an orange weather alert in Donegal as winds of between 100 and 120 kilometres an hour are expected to hit the county later.
A yellow warning is also in effect for Munster, Leinster, Connacht, Cavan and Monaghan.
The strongest winds are expected at midnight, but they are only expected to last for a short period of time.
The gusts will decrease during the course of the early hours of tomorrow morning.
The quick change in the weather is because of a deepening depression in the Atlantic is moving towards the northwest of Scotland.
Be careful out there guys.
