Climate change sceptics won’t enjoy today’s announcement that 2015 was the hottest year since we started recording things like that. In fact, nobody will enjoy this news, since it takes us all that one step closer to living our lives ankle-deep in warm water.
In the 135, 2015 had the highest average temperature according to scientists at the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and NASA.
According to the Irish Times, Ireland managed to escape the worst of the increases thanks to a cool anomaly in the North Atlantic.
We’re not scientists, but we’re taking this to mean that Ireland is safe from all the effects of global warming, right? Right?
