A number of weather warnings have been issued across the country as heavy winds and rain are expected to batter a number of counties from 1pm on Wednesday.
Storm Eva, as it has been named, is expected to bring heavy winds to Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Sligo and Clare, where a Status Orange alert is in place.
A yellow wind warning has been announced for Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Leitrim, Roscommon, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford.
Also, a yellow weather advisory has been issued for Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Sligo and Clare.
The west and northwest of Ireland can expect a storm to develop later on Wednesday and Wednesday night, and Met Éireann are saying it will bring some very heavy winds to the area.
