Parts of Ireland are still feeling the effects of Storm Rachel as 15,000 homes around the country are without power this morning following a night of torrential rain and wind speeds of up to 150km per hour on the west coast.
There’s a status red weather warning that will bring the most severe conditions to Donegal, Sligo, Mayo, Galway, Clare, Limerick, Cork, Leitrim and Kerry up until around 9 am this morning.
