It’s a night for a box-set and a few beers.

Met Eireann are warning that rainfall could reach up to 60mm in places this evening, with high winds also battering the country for the weekend.

In other words, we could be looking at a quiet night in Coppers.

Gusts of up to 90 kilometres per hour are expected.

Joan Blackburn from Met Eireann said: “The story for the rest of the weekend is that tomorrow won’t be quite as mild as today, there will probably be more cloud around.

“There will be a good few showers also and still pretty blustery conditions as well right across the weekend.”
