Batten down the hatches on Inishbofin…
We imagine that there’s a fair amount of loose roof-tiles and knocked over wheelie bins on the west coast of Ireland after the force of Storm Rachel.
We’ve seen how other parts of the country were affected by the gail-force winds and driving rain but this image of Inishbofin really captures the rough weather.
We definitely wouldn’t have wanted to be one of the inhabitants on the small island off the coast of Connemara last night.
