Birr… No, not Birr in Offaly. As in it’s cold. Birr.
Last night was one of the coldest nights we can remember for a long time, it was certainly a night for the hot water bottle.
We weren’t surprised to wake up to the news that there had been some heavy snowfall around the country overnight.

The worst of the snow seems to be in North West with these pictures from Mayo and Donegal painting a picture of what it’s like there at the minute.
