The weather has been mouldy lately, there is no getting away from that fact.
We feel hard done by, given that it’s now May and the weather seems more akin to late January.
There seems to be no respite in the misery either if the latest forecast from Met Eireann is to be believed.
They have issued a status yellow warning with “the risk of some spot flooding” in the far North and Northwest.
There is a pattern of widespread rain across the country coming and going throughout the week right up to Friday morning so the advice would be not to put the wellies in storage just yet.
